Desired impact

We want to help shape a world where trust and civic health can be felt in our communities and guide our actions and collective decision-making. When we are successful in our efforts, our trust in our civic capacity to respond to pressing challenges and the health of our democracy will all improve.

We’ll see an increase in people of all ages feeling connected and effective in their communities, trusting that they and their neighbors can work toward a common goal and tackle big challenges. We’ll see greater participation in civic decision-making because the paths to engagement are clearer and more accessible. People will more broadly trust public institutions such as local government, elected officials and the press, and these institutions will evolve and innovate to meet the needs of the people they serve. Personal and collective investment in our communities will improve our health and well-being and more people will have a renewed sense of hope for the future.
